Conservative Loses Upstate House Race in Blow to Right

Democrats won a special election in a New York State Congressional district, in a setback for conservatives. » Full Story on New York Times

Leave the pachyderm in the oven long enough and they will swell and explode. I truly have found the world of hatred in the Republithug ranting world of the BUZZ. I knew that hatred and racism existed but not so much as found here.

Thank you Sarah Palin and Dick Armey for meddling in New York politics and causing the Republican to lose her race. D-NY new House member Bill Owens can now vote with Obama. If Palin and Glenn Beck had stayed out of it, the GOP would have won the seat

You people in New York and California need to get a f***** clue. You cannot complain about high taxes, job losses, mounting debt, and the poor quality of government services when you continue to put slimy liberal Democrats into office term after term. You can't even see how those politicians use you like toilet paper.

Biden: Drill, Baby, Drill ?

The Mooseiah: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman !

Voters: Dud, Baby, Dud !!!!

If we're lucky enough maybe the Mooseiah will endorse a few more right wing candidates.

Won an election if you call that an election against a nobody (C) who had no personality. At we know that an A-CON crook is in there now, not a Scumafozzea A-Con lover herself. You dumb ass liberaltards keep think your winning. We will see in 2010 when your asses hit the road for the last time. Scum of the country liberals,

That's what happens when you let the GOP run things- with the endorsement of "Sarah Stalin", Rush Limpnuts, Glenn Douche-beck and their kind- even hiding behind a new party name after they've slaughtered the Republican name.

TRUE Conservatives recognize a pig in lipstick- and her name is "Sarah Stalin"!
Unite and kick the GOP clowns to the curb!

Bringing in a wing nut carpet licker endorsed by some of the leading wing nuts such as palin, bachmann, thompson, armey et al backfiered as well it should. Hoffmann could not even answer one question having to do with local issues when he was interviewed by the Watertown Newspaper. It was somehow reminiscent of palin's train wreck interviews with Katy Couric and Charles Gibson. If one does not even bother to research the duties of the job one is running for then how can anyone take them as a serious candidate. The problem with the far right is that they are just too self righteous and arrogant not to mention harboring a deplorable ignorance that they are in denial of and determined to keep themselves that way. It is an insult to the American people to have such hacks representing a national party. Maybe this schism in the republican party will purge it of its wing nuts and leave room for reasonable people. I doubt it, but, just maybe it is possible.

It just shows Palin is poison to any campaign she endorses. She fun/funny to listen to. She's attractive. But only the lowest functioning of people actually think she knows what the hell she is talking about. Anyone who is thinking she is going to run for President has another thing coming, she just making her bid to be a leader in the lucrative conservative entertainment movement.

Sarah
Palin emerged in the presidential campaign of 2008 as the candidate of the Republican base — the people the globalist elites in the party pander to every four years so that if everything breaks right, they may have a chance of winning. Palin is the very image of White fertility and small town Americana — all that the globalist Republican elite despises. 'Despises' is much too mild a word for how the Democrats see her.

Palin resigned her position as governor of Alaska, so the media indulged itself with yet another hate-fest. Frank Rich's op-ed in the New York Times was more interesting than most because he sees the big picture. And he is very happy with what he sees...

People are NOT paying ATTENTION to what happended in VA &

NJ...both of them ran MODERATE..those two DID NOT harp on about abortion, etc

Hoffman kept talking about abortion...every time he did, I just cringed,

I KNEW it was his down fall !

PEOPLE...INDEPENDENTS DECIDE ELECTIONS...

Rep. ALWAYS vote Republican, Libs always vote Liberal

IT IS ONLY the Indep. vote that makes or breaks an election

Steele was RIGHT..Reps. HAVE to get the MODERATE vote.

Cristie & McDonnell RARELY discussed social issues

They talked about FISCAL issues !

People DON'T want big govt. !

Dede was way LIBERAL w/ FISCAL issues. TARP, card check (another word for UNIONS), etc.

People are concerned w/ JOBS & riduclous SOCIAL programs that cost MONEY.

America DOES NOT want MORE govt.

Voters want CONSERVATIVE FISCAL leaders !

BUT..Conservatives can't win elections by themselves..there AREN'T
enough of them.

They NEED Moderates.
Follow the MONEY !

"Conservative Loses Upstate House Race in Blow to Right"

THE ABOVE IS THE LIBERAL MEDIA SPIN!

THE TRUTH IS THAT THE CONFUSION BROUGHT ABOUT WHEN THE GOP CANDIDATE DROPPED OUT CAUSED THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE TO BE ELECTED!

IF THE RACE WAS RAN AGAIN, WITHOUT THE DROPPING OUT OF THE GOP CANDIDATE, I GUARANTEE YOU, THE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE WOULD OF WON!

wow the democrats must have so much pride in beating by a mere 5,000 votes an independent that has only been in the race about 30 days.

We are like a tourist in a dark alley surrounded by aggressive beggars, who are just about to go for our jugular… we are paralyzed with fear and amazement. We can't even believe what is happening to us and somehow we try to rationalize the situation by feeling guilty and thinking that it is actually all right if we get robbed -- for it is the white man’s burden in this world but of course things will not stay this way for ever…

The bigs news here is that we prevented another RINO from getting elected. The good news is that the republicans now know that liberal candidates will not be tolerated any more. If Scumbuzzer had won, there would be an even MORE liberal person going to the house than Owens. Hoffman would have won had he any personality - which is something your either born with or will just never have. I would have to say he did very well with so much working against him.

This is not a "setback" for conservatives. More like a slap at the RNC for their lack of vision in supporting a RINO by giving her $1 million in campaign funds, then misjudging the support she would receive in the district. DeDe's dropping out of the race, and supporting the Dem, justifies this perspective. If the RNC had supported the conservative from the get-go, he would've won as judged by the 6% or so that DeDe ended up getting anyway.

Hoffman was WAY too Conservative....Dede was WAY too liberal...

It's ALL about the middle....INDEPENDENTS DECIDE ELECTIONS !

When you get the Independent vote, you win elections....bottom line.

There are NOT enough Conservatives OR Liberals to win elections.....

you CAN'T afford to alienate the MIDDLE.

Conservatives HATE to hear this..Liberals HATE to hear this....

but it IS the truth !

Hope we learned lessons from VA., NJ and NY ., so we can take back

back the WH in 2012 !

Great job, VA & NJ !

NY....choose your next canidate WISELY next time !

Remember, the Tea Party is about MONEY

This story and comment board is a joke. Both repubs and dems have had their stints at running this country and look where we are – sinking and going down fast. And Ostutter and the new mafia dem party are only throwing gas on the fire. All of you come out to buzz and bicker back and forth over the crumbs the elected public servants leave us while they continue to live like celebrity rockstars with guaranteed pay raises (by their own vote), lavish pensions and private jets – all paid by our tax dollars!

History repeats itself and the day will come when America will have to rid itself of the red coats once again. Prepare yourselves.

Bulldoze DC !!!
