Why did this child feel the need to bring a weapon to school. Although it was was wrong, sometimes teachers and students can make it very difficult to attend school. Teachers can sometimes treat a child, especially when they don't learn as fast as other children, worst than other students. Case in point, second grade teacher at Union Elementary who insist on calling her students dumb or stand and watch while other students make fun of a particular child. Sometimes students feel they have no choice. I'm not saying this was right but sometimes children feels as if no one will help them.
