This is terrible. An army officer who did not want to be in our proud services should had been released. It did not matter if he was muslim or not The man was sick to death of the mission ahead which in turn caused his unstable mental condition to explode. He could have been sidelined in Germany or another non middle east post prior to a review and release.

We always hear about sleeper cells ,The problem with this is that the longer they are here the more they like it here and it leads to a conflict of emotions and extremist religious beliefs . I am no expert but it sounds to me like this is what he was suffering from, an internal conflict where he was torn between what he was taught to believe and the realities of living the life of a free American. My condolensces to those innocents slain and their families. This is the main reason we can not let our guard down , because if we do then this will become a norm here on our soil as it is in Iraq, Pakistan , and Afghanistan.

Yes this is a day for America have to go through this. I am really sad for the soliders who had just cam back from the front lines and then have to go though this it is crazy. I wish our government can do a better job telling who is friend foe in our arm forces. This is not the first time that this happen with in the our arm forces, just the first time it happen on homeland soil. We went though this in Iraq when a US Army solider attic his fellow soliders at a Base camp in 2005 and he is also muslim. I am shock about this it sad and horrble thing we had to go threw this again.
