I don't believe that people should marry outside of their race. I think things are already complicated and so it just complicates things even more. I think black and white people together make beautiful children but those kids have to be subjected to so much hate and discrimination. As far as the justice who wouldn't marry an interracial couple, he should have left his personal feelings at home. I guess he never thought he would have to be the one to marry an interracial couple being from Louisiana and all.
For white people that condone this, by all means encourage your daughters to be mud sharks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am biracial and it has never been a problem. Do you have a problem being white or black? In fact, I have two biracial sisters, still got that problem, huh? Get over it, people are people with their faults, frailities the whole nine yards. Growup and let people be who they are no matter the color. Biracial is not the problem really.

This story is about a red neck old fart who wont marry an interracial couple,,big gee bees,,,,The issue ticks off black men cuz their in fear of not having that trophey white woman to brag to all their buds. I think if 2 people are in love they have the right to marry. However as illustrated in spike lee films they stress about race thru the whole freakin show and as stated "I just was CURIOUS to see what the other race was like in bed." Me personally have met women who date men for superficially reasons that have nothing to do with love at all and dating and getting pregnant to be hip and cool in an uneducated and delinquent generation we live in today. Is this judge wrong? Of course,but what confuses me is when black men say how great they are and how racist we are,,they love the white mans cars,mercedes,bmw etc.....and the white women.
He shouldn't have quit. I think inter-racial couples are fine, but I completely understand those who do not. This is America, you still have the freedom to think and say what you want to, at least for now. He shouldn't have given in so easily to the liberal pressure.
It is quite depressing to read so many hateful and narrow minded responses to some jerk who didn't want to perform the job assigned to him just because he doesn't like the idea of interacial couples.
Life is so hard and if you are lucky enough to find love who cares what color we are, we act like we are so "advanced" yet we still divide ourselves based on pointless systems.
Oh well just another harsh reality, go to school work hard and be denied love because your skin doesn't match... same old BS.
