Chrysler aims to revamp Dodge cars under new plan (AP)

Chrysler plans to revamp its struggling Dodge car brand under a new turnaround plan and says the company's cash has grown by nearly $2 billion since it exited bankruptcy protection in June. » Full Story on Yahoo! Finance

Chrysler must Die. I will never buy another Chrysler, Ford or GM product the rest of my life. I am 49 and I buy a new vehicle every 18 - 24 months. I own a 2005 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab that has been a yard ornament in my yard for the past 3 years. Chrysler made four repair attempts and said there is no use in bringing it back because they cannot repair it. And in Arkansas we have an Attorney General that is beholden to dealerships so he won't go up against manufacturers. Let the buyer beware if you insist on buying painted junk from Chrysler and the likes of Roger Penske (aka Penske Auto Group). Chrysler must die.

Thanks to our President's aid to the Us auto industry, things are improving. Chysler will make better cars and pay the taxpayers back huge interest like the other bailouts.
Thank you, Democrats!

Good luck with that. Dodge hasn't made a decent car since the 60's.

Chrysler should be allowed to die its natural death. Who wants to buy a modified Fiat? Both GM and Chrysler will fail as government run companies. Ford will continue to do well.

So you are going to put a new emblem on the hood? That's going to fix massive failures in design and engineering? That's true innovation Chrysler, true innovation. "Pay no attention to what is behind the curtain" the Wizard of Oz says.

Chrysler has never made a decent car. I had 2 Plymouths in the 60's
A '65 and a '67, both lemons. In 1992 I bought a fully loaded Dodge Dakota, 15 months later Chrysler bought it back. It was a ptece of crap. In 1992 my wife bought a Ford Taurus. I called it the Energizer bunny. It kept going and going. I'll stick with Ford.

I bought a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4X4 in 97. Had the 5 spd and I went thru 3 clutches. Other than that I put 233,000 miles on it with no problems. It was a great truck. Would I buy another Chrysler product now that it is owned by the government and Fiat? Not on you life! Wheres Lee Iaccoca when you need him.

Chrysler and Fiat, both companies with reputations for poor quality. I fail to see how these two combined would make a car worth buying.

Mike--Lemon laws did work you know and besides you can get a lemon in any brand of vehicle. I had a lemon once and used this law and won and got my money back plus the auto company had to pay my lawyer fees. It sounds like all you did is complain and ended it and did not take advantage of the lemon law.
