Usually in cases like this I get a tad upset when the low-life piece of s*** gets less than the death penalty.
But in this guys case I am perfectly satisfied to know that he will spend the rest of his life, however long or short that may be, in jail housed with a bunch of other violent criminals who will show him on a daily basis just what they think of his being a child killer.
The AP calls this a discipline session gone astray.....what a bunch of crap. Allegedly, this horrible couple hides behind killing this beautiful baby because she would not say please and thank you consistently. For this they beat her with a belt, dunked her head in water, and threw her against a tile floor....and they get a trial???? An innoncent little angel doomed to death because two people that she could not stop decided to kill her. I hope that inmates in the Texas prison system teach these two animals how to say please and thank you on a daily basis...even the coldest inmates hate rapists, child molestors, and baby killers.

These two people are getting what they deserve and unless they are segregated they will not last long. I hope they will be shown the exact same treatment they showed to the precious defenseless baby they tortured.

People that hurt the weakest, the most defenseless, should all be sent to the hottest part of hell there is. I hate all child abusers, child molesters, animal abusers, elderly abusers, women beaters, and hope the rapists and killers in prison hate them too.
Hopefully these two will be in general population so they can be taught manners by the other inmates. The mother got the death sentence, but that takes about 20 years, so she will sit in solitary confinement on death row. That father is going to suffer though, he'll learn manners in prison.
It just makes me sad to hear about babies getting murdered. I just don't understand.

Her parents, unfortunately got off easy. Nothing that happens to them can make up for what they've done to her. Life is stranger than fiction.
So they threw a toddler girl onto the tile floor and cracked her skull because she would not say please and thank you. She was just two years old. I despair of the human race. As for wanting to do violent things to this couple, you all are reacting just like them. It is the place of the state to make sure they never have a chance to inflict violence on anyone again. And the when they die they will face God or oblivion. But how incredible is the arrogance of these murderers to object to their sentence. If I had hurt a two year old even by accident I would want to die just to end the pain in my head.
Seems to me his new husband "Bubba" is going to teach him those manners he worships and adores. I do hope he enjoys this new experience and I wonder if he''ll wear a veil to his nuptuals.

anyways, the fact that the parents were given life sentences makes me sick. why should taxpayers have to foot the bill for them living? i say all criminals who murder need to be murdered the same way as soon as they are caught. that way justice is served and $$ is saved.

They really need to get tougher on these monsters; they do not deserve to live why they should have a life if theses children cannot.
