Imagine you are fighting, being shot at, road side bombs everywhere, and you make a call to your commander and say "we need help". He says "I hear you, but I need to carefully weigh all the info, maybe wait on a public election, and say " I don"t want to rush into a decision". While your commander lolly gags around with this BS, you continue to get shot at and your friends are getting killed. The UN decides to pull out because things are getting worse. What kind of commander do you think you have? Good or Bad? God help us if things get worse, these are the kinda decisions that where being made during the Vietnam war. Remember what we lookedl like when we where gettin our asses handed to us as we ran away. Like whopped puppies. Our commander in cheif is hesitating!! When your in a fight, this is how you lose.

Russia should be smiling now. The United States armed the Afghans to drive Russia out of their country in the 80's. America was so proud of the event that a movie was made about an east Texas maverick that led the arming of the Afghans. The chickens are coming home to roost for the United States. Another Viet Nam in the making.
Now if we could just get the U.N. to pull out of the U.S. some real progress could be claimed.
